FANCAP determined to carry out a strike with mobilization this Friday, November 26, in defense of the Portland industry in the state and public orbit.

As reported, in the metropolitan area the strike will begin at 8:30 and will continue until the end of the day.

While in the portland de Minas plant, activities will stop between 10:00 and 22:00, and in the rest of the interior of the country it will be defined by sector.

From the union it is estimated that there will be no fuel shortages, but there could be some distortion in the service, especially at the Carrasco airport.

Aero fuels

On Tuesday, November 23, FANCAP held a mobilization and rally at the gates of the Laguna del Sauce airport, in rejection of the privatization of the aero-fuel sector, in defense of jobs and productive units and also in defense of state ANCAP and public.

The union considers that in the area of fuels, the government tries to change the role of ANCAP, turning it into an “instrument at the service of capital” instead of being a tool for social transformation that promotes social, productive, economic and human development.
