On the afternoon of this Thursday, an act of insecurity was recorded in the 93rd park in the city of Bogotá, where a man was shot by gunmen who were traveling on a blue Pulsar motorcycle with EMN 55c license plates.
To clarify this murder, the newspaper El Tiempo was able to obtain information on the murdered man, who was identified as Maximiliano Cañón, an emerald maker who was recognized for being one of the greatest opponents of the ‘Pedro Orejas’ clan.
According to information from the Police, the gunmen who fired and committed the homicide were captured minutes later, and They were transferred to a nearby CAI where they are expected to be prosecuted.

Colonel of Citizen Security of the Bogota Police, Ferney Vásquez Morenoreported that Cañón was together with his sentimental partner sharing some food, when a man entered the restaurant where they were, hitting him repeatedly with a firearm. Subsequently, the injured emerald was transferred to a care center, where he died.
The investigating body tries to clarifyr if this fact is due to the reactivation of the emerald wars, despite the fact that ‘Pedro Orejas’ was extradited to the United States for drug trafficking.
