The Humanized Childbirth Plan is a national executive plan that aims to provide support and protection to pregnant women during and after pregnancy.
In addition, it seeks to generate stability with the economic allocation and the training of thousands of community defenders. Throughout the national territory.
Prior to the presentation of the agreement, Deputy Casimira Monasterio stated that “the National Plan for Humanized Childbirth claims the human character of giving birth.”
This week, the national director of Humanized Childbirth and Breastfeeding, Yannett González, indicated that in the first half of 2022, approximately 95,000 pregnant Venezuelan women were treated.
It was created on July 11, 2018 by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who expressed his joy on Monday for the positive impact that this policy has had on Venezuelan women since its creation.
