If these two new routes are granted, one in the morning and one in the afternoon-evening, American Airlines would be increasing 14 frequencies a week between Miami and the “José Martí” International Airport, since since last March the route has been covered by six flights. daily, for a total currently of 42 weekly.
When making the request, the company recalled that in 2020 it had already requested this extension, but those plans were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new flights will begin 90 days after being approved, so it would be for next November, with the following routes: Miami (MIA) 08:00 – Havana (HAV) 09:13; Havana (HAV) 10:13 – Miami (MIA) 11:24; Miami (MIA) 17:35 – Havana (HAV) 18:52; Havana (HAV) 19:52 – Miami (MIA) 21:03.
