Almost 60,000 homes suffered power outages in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area on a Saturday afternoon in which the temperature exceeded 38 degrees, while the providers Edenor and Edesur estimated the normalization of the service between 11 p.m. this Saturday and 2 of Sunday.

In the Edesur area, the Buenos Aires districts most affected were Almirante Brown (4,759), Avellaneda (4,328), Esteban Echeverría (4,797), Ezeiza (6,008), Lomas de Zamora (4,475) and Presidente Perón (507); next to the Buenos Aires neighborhoods of Balvanera (3,018), Villa Lugano (2,152) and Villa Riachuelo (1,012).

In the Edenor area, the Buenos Aires districts most affected were Pilar (4,939), José C. Paz (608), and Escobar (193); also the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano (460).

the website of ENRE reported that for the Edesur concession area the restoration of the service is estimated between midnight and 2 a.m., while in the Edenor area it is expected after 11 p.m..
