The court order was issued by Judge Raiza Cajigas Campbell, of the Court of First Instance of San Juan, after an ex parte request, the Police reported in a statement.
As it is a case under the Law for the Prevention and Intervention with the domestic violence, the Puerto Rico Police does not reveal the name of the petitioning party.
According to the Puerto Rican newspaper El Vocero, the order indicates that the parties were related for seven months and separated two years ago, but Ricky Martin has not accepted this separation.
The document alleges that the artist frequently calls the petitioner and has even loitered around his residence on at least three occasions, for which “the petitioner fears for his safety.”
