Sheinbaum commissions morenistas to spread AMLO's electoral reform

The president is one of the possible ‘presidential candidates’ indicated by the president himself, along with Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard and the Secretary of Government, Adán Augusto López.

“The most important thing is that if we ask for democracy outside, there is democracy inside, we must be consistent. (…) Let it be clear to all of Mexico: Morena is more united than ever and that depends on each one of us, ”she said.

When questioned by the media at the event, the head of government affirmed that she came to communicate the tasks given by López Obrador, ruling out that it was a campaign act before a possible candidacy by replying “I do not come as head of government.”

“We are here invited by Morena de Querétaro, so we are promoting, as always, what is the Government of President López Obrador. Also what we have done in Mexico City, but above all now this democratic-electoral reform”, he maintained.

However, in said event there was no lack of the already typical shouts of “President, President!” and “it is seen, it is felt, Claudia is present!”.
