According to a statement issued by the Algerian Transport Ministry, this meeting was organized in accordance with the instructions given by the president of that country, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to finalize the details of the air connection.

In Mongi’s opinion, the opening of the direct airline between Algiers and Caracas “will contribute to the consolidation of economic and cultural relations between the two countries” and will help improve “the volume of commercial exchanges and the movement of people and merchandise as well as strengthening tourism and scientific and cultural missions.”
In recent days, Conviasa announced in its social networks that as of July 27, it would make its first flight to Algeria.
