The Argentine ambassador in Spain, Ricardo Alfonsinwas asked this Sunday if radicalism has “valid political reasons to remain an ally” in the Juntos por el Cambio (JxC) coalition if the PRO finally seals an electoral agreement with a space with which the UCR “has deep, serious and insurmountable differences.”
In a brief tweet and although he avoided mentioning which political force he was referring to, Alfonsín seemed to allude to La Libertad Avanza, of javier mileirejected by a sector of JxC (radicals and lilitos) and praised by the head of the PRO, Patricia Bullrich.
Given the speculation about a future agreement between the Milei and JxC space, the ambassador in Spain reflected on whether radicalism should continue to be part of that opposition alliance.
That the main partner of the front that makes up your party proposes to add another with whom yours has deep, serious and insurmountable differences, shouldn’t that make you think if there are valid political reasons to continue allied with the partner that made the proposal?

The radical leader He had already expressed his dissatisfaction before versions of a possible incorporation of La Libertad Avanza to the ranks of JxC in the province of Buenos Aires with the aim of disputing the Buenos Aires governorship in this year’s elections.
On that occasion, Alfonsín also expressed on Twitter: “But what is the limit? What do you want to do with the party? What do you want to turn it into?” and asked that they not “invoke more” historical references of radicalism in these speculations.
