ALBA-TCP expresses its solidarity with President Lula after violence in Brazil

The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) expressed this Sunday its support and solidarity with the president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva against acts of violence perpetrated by groups “Neo Fascists” who intend to give a coup to democracy in Brazil and ignore the will of its people.

This was stated by Félix Plasencia, executive secretary of ALBA-TCP through his account on the social network Twitter. “From the Executive Secretariat of @ALBATCP we express our support and solidarity to President @LulaOficial, in the face of the acts of violence perpetrated by Neo-fascist groups that intend to carry out a Coup d’état against the democracy of Brazil and ignore the will of its people.”

This Sunday, supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro They broke into various government offices causing destruction in their path.

The events occurred when President Lula – who assumed power on January 1 – is currently in Sao Paulo on an official trip, to a city affected by the rains.

The demonstrators entered the headquarters of the National Congress of Brazil, the Federal Supreme Court and the Planalto Palace.
