$38 million contribution
He added that aviation is an important facilitator of socioeconomic development that, before the pandemic, contributed 38 million dollars to Mexico’s gross domestic product (GDP) with more than one million jobs in the country. Covid-19 caused an unprecedented drop in air traffic, so it is essential that the authorities and industry players coordinate what is necessary for Mexico’s air activity to continue its recovery, to the benefit of the country’s social and economic development
