Santiago. The Association of Industrialists of the Northern Region (Airen) and the Banco Popular Dominicano developed for the eighth year the panel “Women of Trajectory”, in which the panelists shared their experiences and contribution to the dynamism of exports.
The initiative highlights the stories of inspiring women from different productive and service lines who share their professional experiences, good practices and contributions in the business world and how they add to national growth, by raising the Dominican flag on other borders. The attendees were welcomed by Catherine Kelner, a member of Airen’s board of directors, who highlighted the role played by women in the country’s development.
He said that with this conference on the dynamism of exports in which the Dominican Republic has demonstrated in challenging moments, which precede the current socioeconomic reality, and how the economic empowerment of women has played a leading role in meeting these challenges.
The panelists on this occasion were Paola Rainieri de Díaz, marketing director of Grupo Punta Cana; Dinorah Subero de Quezada, director of Q&S Laboratories; Mercedes Carmen Capellán, president of Grupo M/Codevi and Raquel Quesada, senior director of Quesada Cigars.
The closing of this activity concluded to the rhythm of merengue and a summary of the impact phrases expressed by the panelists dismissed the ladies present until a next installment. The panel is part of the activities to commemorate International Women’s Day.
The Association of Industrialists of the Northern Region, is a private institution with legal personality that brings together the industrialists of the northern region, an entity that through the Family Business Development Center is the service unit of AIREN and has the objective of work to promote the continuity and permanence of family businesses.
