Cristian Córdoba is a young man who fights for the rights of his people in Quibdó, capital of the department of Chocó.
Recently, he made a video complaint in which he evidenced a protest by hospital workers, who allegedly have not been paid for six months.
The young Chocoano in the company of other volunteers of the movement “A convinced young man convinces”, They expressed their dissatisfaction with the plight of these workers and their families, since they have no way to support their homes due to the lack of their payments.

With chairs, uncovered pots without food and other utensils, the employees of the Ismael Rivera hospital blocked the road so that their requests could be heard.
As reported by the young man on social networks, he allegedly received some type of intimidation from a public official of the municipality for the activities he was carrying out, a fact that he saw with great concern.
In a “live” from the scene, Aída Victoria was connected by telephone with Cristian and was able to closely observe the situation experienced by the hospital workers who carried out the protest.

Seeing the apparent dangerous situation for Cristian, Aída Victoria decided to bring him home to keep him safe. In addition, she sponsored him to study law at the university.
She will pay all the expenses and, in addition, she will provide him with lodging in her house so that he can study with peace of mind for as long as necessary, between 4 and 5 years that the degree lasts.
It is noteworthy that Aída Victoria Merlano has been carrying out some social work with the vulnerable population of the department of Chocó.
On this occasion, he made visible the fact that some workers at a local hospital have not had their salaries paid.
“Let Colombia find out that the health personnel of the San Francisco de Asís Hospital (the only second-needy hospital in the department) have not been paid for 6 months,” he published on his Instagram account on February 5.
«I fell in love with Chocó, with its people, with their endurance to face life in the midst of adversity, with their struggle to recover the dignity that the State took from them (a struggle that I feel mine, as if the Atrato River had seen me rise )”, said Aída about the needs of this area of Colombia.
