AFP Reservas delivers RD$449 million to affiliates

The Administrator of Pension funds Bookings (AFP Reserves) delivered 449.9 million pesos to its affiliates residing in Santo Domingo Este, attending to the processing, between January 2021 and June of this year, of some 1,776 requests made.

Among the benefits distributed, those destined for unemployment due to advanced age stand out, with an amount of 7,823,215 pesos; late entry, with 390,654,612 pesos; survival with 51,409,356 pesos and old age pension, with 105,734 pesos.

The information is offered by the entity within the framework of the inauguration of its new customer service agency in Santo Domingo Este, an act presided over by the general manager of Banreservas, Samuel Pereyra, in his capacity as president of the company’s Board of Directors.

With the opening of the facilities, it will allow the AFP Reserves offer better customer service and meet the demand of affiliates.

The AFP explained that “with the opening of the new agency, the structure of the company is strengthened to facilitate access to the different services offered by the Pension Fund Administrator.”

“The purpose of AFP Reserves is to provide close support at all times, through guidance and human assistance that guarantees the accessibility of the services offered to all residents in the Eastern Zone and surrounding municipalities, as well as to the five nearby provinces, including San Pedro from Macorís, El Seibo, Monte Plata and Hato Mayor, who represent 9.6% of the more than 600 thousand affiliates in this pension administrator”, they highlight in a press release.

They remember that the opening is part of the expansion plan that the company began last year to expand its customer service in a personalized way nationwide.

In addition to its agency in the Eastern Zone, AFP Reserves It has another four located in the National District, and the provinces of Santiago, Azua and Punta Cana.

In the last 18 months, the municipality of Santo Domingo Este has represented for AFP Reserves 10% of the total services provided in the entire eastern part of the country, or what is equal, to 7,766 services, of the 75,653 that were received in the entity. More than 7,000 members of the institution reside in the municipality.

New agency services

The new customer service agency is located at 52 Charles de Gaulle Street, inside the Banco de Reservas office, Santo Domingo Este, with service hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. afternoon.

Among the services offered at the Eastern Zone branch are: application processing for all the benefits provided by Law 87-01 of the Social Security System, updating of affiliate data, request for account statements and information on the process to request the pension, among others.

Executives from the Reservas family participated in the inauguration, headed, among them, by the deputy administrator of Subsidiary Companies, Francisco Elías; the General Director of Personal Business, Pablo De La Rosa; and the General Director of Operations, José Martí; the commercial director of the AFP Reserves, Sheyly Viuque; representatives of regulatory bodies, and other collaborators.
