Officer Luis Ortellado informed the Gen-Nación Media channel that the traffic accident occurred at 3:30 this morning, when the driver lost control of the steering wheel after a tire exploded on Avda. Mariscal López at its intersection with Mexico.
As a result of this, he collided with an ANDE column, which fell and remained on top of the vehicle. Fortunately, the occupant escaped unharmed.
The driver was uninjured.
“The man stated that he was coming from Loma Pytâ bound for the Military Hospital where his son is hospitalized, when the wheel burst he lost his direction,” Ortellado commented.
ANDE technicians were informed about the fall and their arrival is awaited for the electrical disconnection that allows firefighters to remove the vehicle safely.
