One person died and 12 Petrobras employees were rescued with minor injuries after an emergency landing at sea of a helicopter outsourced by the company that was traveling from Salvador to the Manati platform, located in Camamu Bay, Bahia. The accident occurred on the morning of this Wednesday (16) and the information was given in the afternoon by the company.
Even rescued by a vessel close to the emergency landing site, the crew member of the aircraft that fell overboard ended up dying. The other crew members were taken to Salvador, to receive medical attention.
According to Petrobras, the competent bodies have already been notified of the accident and a commission will be formed to investigate the causes of the occurrence.
