Santo Domingo.- The Executive Branch issued Decree number 594-22, through which it appoints the Vice President of the Republic, Rachel Pena Rodriguezas president of the Electrical Cabinet.
In its article 2, this provision establishes that article 1 of Decree no. 530-20, dated October 1, 2020.
Similarly, the Decree of the Executive Power contains the designation of the Minister of Public Health, Mr. Daniel Enrique de Jesús Rivera Reyes, as president of the Health Cabinet.
This Decree also modifies article 2 of Decree no. 71 -21, dated February 8, 2021, so that from now on it reads as follows:
The Digital Transformation Cabinet will be made up of the titular members of the following organizations:
a) Ministry of the Presidency (MINPRE), who will preside over it.
b) Ministry of Economy, Planning and Development (MEPYD).
c) Ministry of Education (MINERD).
d) Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCYT).
e) Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes (MICM).
f) Ministry of Public Administration (MAP).
g) Legal Office of the Executive Power (CJPE).
h) Dominican Telecommunications Institute (INDOTEL).
i) Presidential Office of Information and Communication Technologies (OPTIC).
This provision repeals any decree, resolution or prior instruction that is contrary to it.
