The Roman.- The presidential candidate for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Abel Martinez, He reiterated that the current government has plunged Dominicans into chaos, uncertainty, insecurity and hopelessness, due to its marked inability to govern.
Martínez indicated that the country has a ruler who lives in an enchanted bubble, who only sees his surroundings, therefore, he cannot feel or know the reality of those who are outside of it, and invited the president to come out of that bubble. and look at the housewives, the young people without opportunities, the desperate parents who have no way to feed their children because outside of that bubble “Dominicans are fearful of the delinquency that robs them, kills them, rapes them women and takes away their hope of a better future,” said Abel Martínez, assuring that crime has gotten out of hand of the authorities.
Martínez spoke in those terms within the framework of the swearing-in of the provincial team of his political project in La Romana, where he also said that the current ruler “looks desperate because the population is demanding that he keep his promises and abandon the populist speeches that only remain in news headlines.”
“They have forgotten that the presidential elections in which they were elected have passed and that they have spent half of the government period presenting excuses, promising the same thing that was offered in the campaign and they have not been able to fulfill it. They have made the country go backwards in all aspects, annihilating the poor and leading the middle class to despair”, expressed Abel Martínez.
