A 21-year-old young man died this Wednesday afternoon after being the victim of a firearm attack, in a new violent incident that occurred in the Casabó neighborhood.
The crime occurred at the intersection of La Vía and Calle 17 Metros. According to what was reported by Telemundo, the victim was circulating on public roads when one or two people opened fire on him.
Wounded, the young man fell to the ground and residents of the area helped him and took him immediately to the Cerro Coordinated Center (CCC). The medical staff diagnosed him with three shots to the chest and gave him medical assistance, but he died shortly after.
The victim had a history of private violence, was the subject of threats in recent hours and lived a few meters from where he was killed. According to witnesses, the young man was armed, but whoever killed him took the weapon and took it away.
Also, one of the assailants fled the scene through one of the corridors. The police work to stop the murderers.
