From 8:23 a yellow alert applies in the central zone of the country, informed the Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology (Inumet). As well the orange alert ceased that affected the department of Florida and part of Durazno, San José, Flores and Lavalleja.
In the areas compromised by the alert, “intense rains in short periods, occasional hail, intense electrical activity and strong gusts of wind”.
The alert covers a large part of the territory of Durazno and Florida, with sectors of Flores, Lavalleja, Cerro Largo, Treinta y Tres and Tacuarembo. It will be updated at 10:30 a.m., or in case of significant changes.
