A yatiri was the informant of the criminal gang that tried to rob a house in La Paz

The Minister of Government, Eduardo del Castillo, presented this Monday to a criminal gang that on Sunday tried to rob a home in the Miraflores area (La Paz). Besides, mentioned that a yatiri (wise Aymara) was the informer of the criminals.

The authority showed a video in which it is observed how the thieves, disguised as construction workersthey try to force a lock, to the point of shooting it with a revolver, generating the alert of the neighbors.

Among the nine detainees are a woman and a man who should serve house arrest in Cochabamba. They were apprehended this Monday at dawn, when they were planning another robbery.

Del Castillo explained that the yatiri did home work and took advantage of that to make sketches detailing entry points and where the families’ valuables were located, to facilitate the work of criminals.

This criminal group had in their possession two firearms, revolver type.38 caliber, and seven cell phones have been seized, clothes they used to disguise themselves, “he said at a press conference.
