The events were denounced by the Argentine Federation of Transport and Logistics Entities (FAETyL), which also repudiated what happened, since they had alerted the Government about the risks of the strike.
In a statement, the Federation explained that “the transporter from General Rodríguez was doing his job (yesterday) around 5 p.m. when, passing through a picket about five kilometers from the access to the city of Daireux on the way to Bonifacio, he was strongly attacked by those who protested”.
And they added: “For not complying with the strike and stopping his truck, a truck overtook him and threw stones at him that broke the windshield, caused him to lose control of the vehicle and, consequently, overturn the truck.“.
The fact is now being investigated by the justice system, since some versions indicate that it could have been a homicide. Meanwhile, the police reported that three people were arrested, as they would be the main suspects in the attack.
