Santo Domingo.- The arrival of another trough to starting this friday downpour activity will increase in several regions, so the Emergency Operations Center (COE) maintains alert in eleven provinces, plus the National District.
Three of those provinces are on “yellow alert” (Duarte, María Trinidad Sánchez and Samaná), due to the rain that has been recorded and to which forecast for this Fridayaccording to the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet).
Meanwhile, in green they appear Puerto PlataMirabal Sisters, Saint DominicMonsignor Nouel, Hato Mayor, EspaillatSan Cristóbal and the National District.

Indomet predicted that the rainfall will extend to other towns such as La VegaEl Seibo, La Altagracia and San Pedro de Macorís.
Likewise, he warned about the abnormal waves in the atlantic coastso he recommended boat users not to venture out to sea.
