It will remain open to the public from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and also on Sundays from 14 to 22.
The inauguration of activities will be this Tuesday, November 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Blue Room of the commune (Av. 18 de Julio 1360, 1st and 1/2 floors), with the participation of national and departmental authorities.
In this instance the finalist works of the Bartolomé Hidalgo prize will be announced and the poet Ida Vitale will give a conference.
The Montevideo International Book Fair is organized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Books and the Intendancy.
The program includes presentations of recently published books and an international zone in which there will be activities from Palestine, Mexico, Cuba, China and Portugal.
