The member of the Superior Court of Justice of Neuquén (TSJ) and president of the Council of the Judiciary, Soledad Gennari, denounced this Thursday for gender-based violence against her peer from the highest body of the Judiciary, Germán Busamia, judicial sources reported.
The complaint was filed in person before the Attorney General of the province, José Gerez, after a discussion that Gennari had with Busamia, this Wednesday, during the weekly meeting of the TSJ agreement.
The member, who was also the creator of the Office of Women in the Judiciary in 2016, told Télam that “what happened at the agreement meeting was a clear act of gender-based violence towards her person by the member Busamia”.
“This has several previous episodes as a background”said Gennari, who after four hours of testimony before the prosecutor Gerez, made a reservation to expand his complaint when he overcomes the health condition that caused the incident.
Precisely after the discussion in which Busamia disqualified her for her gender task and personally, the member had a peak of pressure for which she had to be treated in court facilities and later referred to a private health center where she remained under observation. several hours.
“I reserved an extension because it is not the only episode and as I feel better I am going to expand the complaint,” he assured.
“I want to continue and I will continue working because I do it with total commitment. And that it be understood that the gender perspective is not an ideology; I work for real equality for women every day”Soledad Gennari
Gennari maintained that “I want to continue and I am going to continue working because I do it with total commitment. And that it be understood that the gender perspective is not an ideology; I work for real equality for women every day.”
Then he wondered: “If I don’t report this situation, who? He reached a point of absolute intolerance and being linked to a severe hypertensive crisis, I made this decision so that one way or another it ends.
Gennari indicated that the complaint was sent to the labor court where the intervening court will be drawn.
She defined the act as “an exercise of institutional, psychological violence based on my condition as a woman and on gender.”
After listening to member Gennari, prosecutor Gerez ordered a series of measures: “Dr. María Soledad Gennari is allowed to participate in the Agreements of the Superior Court of Justice virtually; that Dr. Germán Busamia refrain from incurring -in whatever scope- in aggressive, inappropriate, disqualifying and offensive attitudes and behaviors towards the person and work of Dr. María Soledad Gennari”.
It also ordered that “Dr. Germán Busamia refrain from communicating by any means with Dr. María Soledad Gennari directly or indirectly, personally or through third parties.”
