A man entered his ex-partner’s apartment early Tuesday morning, whom he stabbed, and then took their two-year-old daughter and threw her into the void from the second floor of the building.
The incident occurred at three in the morning in a building located on Santos Machicado street, in the San Pedro area. In circumstances that are under investigation, the aggressor found ways to enter Monica’s apartment, her ex-partner, caused two injuries to her thigh with a knife and took her baby.
Then he opened the apartment window and stood on the ledge with the little girl in his arms. After several minutes in which the Police and Firefighters were already on the scene, the man stabbed the baby at least five times and threw her into the void.
Shortly after, he injured his neck with the same knife and fell.

“This subject uses a knife to cause two injuries to Monica in the right thigh. She flees to Cotahuma (to ask for help), she returned home with the Police,” the director of the Force to Fight Violence explained to the press. (Felcv), Jhonny Vega.
The uniformed man explained that the man stabbed the baby three times in the neck and twice in the abdomen, and then threw her out the window.
“He had the girl in his left hand and with his right he was holding on to the window frame. He inflicted three wounds on the neck and two on the abdomen of the under two-year-old and threw her. A minute later he inflicted two wounds on the right side of the neck and is also thrown,” Vega said.

The assailant and the baby were taken to the hospital. The man is out of danger, but the girl’s condition is critical, according to Unitel.
The little girl underwent an operation for the injuries to her abdomen and is now in intensive care at the Caja Bancaria.
Monica, the victim of the attempted femicide, had moved only six days ago to the apartment where the event occurred.
“Before throwing her out, the girl was begging to let her sleep because it was three in the morning, and it was cold for her. But she didn’t listen, she kept her for an hour begging at the window with half her body in the air. Before throwing her, the stabbed several times and then threw it away, and he also threw it away,” said one of the neighbors who witnessed the incident.
