For his part, Arias affirmed that Mugica “showed us that in the town, especially in the poor town, there is truth and there is beauty and not just injustice. Mugica’s place is enormous in the memory of this town.”

During the day, a document prepared by members of different social and political spheres was read, which expresses the need to reflect on the work of faith of “who today is a beacon for the faithful, militants and villero priests.”
The text highlights that Mugica “was convinced that from love, from unity, from work and from solidarity, the true organized community could be built” and invites one to think about the sense of commitment, faith, Militancy and Peronism in the light of the work of the priest.
The Carlos Mugica conferences take place in October and May, months in which his birth and martyrdom are commemorated, respectively, and seek to specify community actions and the preparation of documents of collective thought.
