The Canelones Police investigate the murder of a 29-year-old man who was found dead on public roads. The deceased had a criminal record for firing a firearm, reception, robbery, theft, private violence and carrying a firearm.
As reported by the Headquarters of Canelones to The Observer, The Homicide Department verified through images from a security camera that the man was defended from a car by occupants who fired several shots and then fled towards Montevideo.
The incident is still under investigation as the man was found with a stab wound to the chest and a gunshot wound with no exit hole.
The event occurred during the early hours of this Sunday and staff from Sectional 26 of Paso Carrasco was alerted about a man fallen on public roads.
The investigation of the case is in charge of prosecutor Busich.
