The chief of staff, Juan Manzur, maintained that the celebration of Independence Day should “unite us and generate bonds of trust” to achieve “definitively move Argentina forward” and affirmed that the Nation “emerges as a country with great opportunities”.
“Today TWe have to unite and generate these bonds of trust to get Argentina definitively forward. The celebration of independence means redoubling hope for a better future, an Argentina that we always seek to include, that generates opportunities, that looks forward“, said Manzur in statements to the press in the capital of Tucumán, after the ceremony of raising the national flag on the mast of Plaza Independencia.
The official also pointed out that Argentina “was born in the interior, in northern Argentina; it was born here in Tucumán and in a family home, that is why we celebrate it with such joy, with such enthusiasm and looking forward.”

In a difficult, complex world, with everything we already know, Argentina emerges as a country with great opportunities. Today we have to unite, generate these bonds of trust to definitively move Argentina forward,” he asserted.
Manzur referred to the visit of President Alberto Fernández to preside over the official ceremony at the Historic House. “Practically the entire cabinet comes and that speaks clearly of the fervor and enthusiasm. Every day we work to generate the necessary consensus and dialogue that are part of democracy. It is what we carry out daily in the national government,” Manzur remarked. .
On the other hand, before a consultation, the chief of staff assured that “the link and the dialogue are the same as always” with the vice president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

Vigil at the Historic House
This Friday, Manzur led -together with national, provincial and local authorities- the traditional vigil at the Historic House of Tucumán, during which the National Anthem was sung.
The Tucuman governor Osvaldo Jaldo participated; the Ministers of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Julián Domínguez; and Culture, Tristán Bauer, and the mayor of San Miguel de Tucumán, Germán Alfaro, among other authorities and legislators.
Also present were the governor of Jujuy, Gerardo Morales; the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta; the Deputy Chief of Staff, Jorge Neme, and the Secretary of Media and Public Communication, Juan Ross.
In addition, the president and vice president of the provincial Legislature, Sergio Mansilla and Regino Amado, attended; and the president of the block of national deputies of the Frente de Todos, Germán Martínez, who is in Tucumán with a delegation of 20 legislators from that group from different provinces.
Then, the authorities went to the esplanade of the Government House, where a festival was held in which artists such as Chaqueño Palavecino, Marcela Morelo, Axel and Gladys “La Bomba Tucumana” participated. There again the National Anthem was performed and there was a fireworks display.
Earlier, Manzur and other authorities witnessed an extraordinary performance at the San Martín Theater, where local artists performed.
