The ex-president affirmed “if we don’t create national unity, Argentina won’t be left for anyone”, so Eduardo Duhalde indicated that “you have to get that government and opposition thing out of your head.
This, since for Eduardo Duhalde “People do not elect a person to be the opposition, they elect him to be part of a government”. Under this same line he asserted “the Argentines do not want to see us fight anymore”.
In dialogue with Radio Con Vos, the president pointed out that he is “trying to help the Argentine governments”, because it is “the responsibility and obligation of those who passed through the presidency”.
Likewise, the politician assured “we are going to get out of this but we have to do what we did in 2002”, this given that during his mandate he demanded the support of all political forces to overcome the problems that existed at that time.
“I made it a condition at the time that if they didn’t all support me, I wouldn’t take over, they all supported me, more than 90% of the deputies and senators who voted for me,” he said and stressed that the fights between the different parties the only thing they achieve is undermine and weaken democracy.
