Government has delivered almost 80% of the Easter royalty to public servants

“Of those 21,073 million pesos that we have programmed, as of today, this institution has already managed to pay 16,313 million from the institutions that have loaded and sent all their payroll, and in that same order they have been reported, for a 78 Percent of the total royalty that the government must comply with, ”said the official.

Delgado Sánchez indicated that there is still a pending disbursement of 4.7 billion pesos, for 22%. “We hope that within today and tomorrow this will end,” he said.

On the other hand, it was reported that the income registered in the Treasury, received by the collection agencies and sources of financing of the Central Government in the period January-October 2021, amounts to RD $ 887.5 billion, of which 73% corresponds to the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII).

In addition to the income received per collection unit, the National Treasury highlights the implementation of the Treasury Revenue Collection System (Sirite), with 39 institutions that are incorporated, collecting RD $ 880.6 million, in 351,790 service payment transactions made by users on that platform from January to October.

Also, the expenses registered in the period January-October 2021 were RD $ 653,461.57 million, while the financing registered for the year has been RD $ 190,413.35 million.

On the other hand, the amount directed to debt service is RD $ 194,736.51 million.

The national treasurer offered the information during a meeting with journalists and representatives of the country’s media.
