The Minister of Communication, Freddy Ñáñez, reported that the country registered 93 coronavirus infections, 90 by community transmission and 3 imported.
The community cases are located in the following states: Zulia 30, Bolívar 13, Yaracuy 8, Caracas 8, Guárico 8, among others. This according to a report in Twitter.
Zulia today presents the highest number of infections in 4 of its 21 municipalities: Maracaibo 17, Cabimas 7, San Francisco 4, Miranda 2.
The official said that of the 3 imported cases, 1 comes from Panama, 1 from Türkiye and 1 from Ecuador. All with entrance through La Guaira.
“We reached a total of 526,022 confirmed cases, 1,777 active cases and 518,513 recovered people, which represents 99% of the infections,” he counted.
With the new data, Ñáñez said that to date there are 1,108 patients who are asymptomatic, 547 with mild acute respiratory failure, 92 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 30 in the Intensive Care Unit.
On the other hand, the official reported the death of 2 men aged 73, 80 who died in Zulia state, to reach 5,732 in the national territory. “Condolences to his family and relatives,” he concluded.
