The portfolios that sat down to talk today were Work, Interior, Justice, Finance, Transport, Commerce and Public Function
In the transportation sector, former congressman Mauricio Lizcano whom Petro appointed as one of the coordinators of the splicing committee. The former public official told RCN Radio that “with all the portfolios in general there is a good atmosphere, the government of president-elect Gustavo Petro has designated a methodology that will allow identifying what the needs of the Government Program are, that is, what is the information that is needed to fulfill said plan, budgetary needs, legal needs, which are the issues that should continue, which are the issues that should not continue and which are the ones that must be built”.
He also noted that there is a constructive, open and respectful interest despite the differences of ideas between the two governments: the outgoing and the incoming.
“I think there has been a good atmosphere on the part of the outgoing government, as there is also a constructive environment on the part of the incoming government, and in due course we will be counting the issues that we are finding and that will be of information for the country”assured for the aforementioned medium.
Likewise, Lizcano highlighted that in the schedule established for the connection, will gather 23 sectors during this week in 10 transversal tables. And next week 190 entities, with eight-hour days, will dedicate themselves to making the preliminary report. On July 23, the final report from the Petro government would be delivered.
Along with this, other delegates for Petro, Alfonso Prado, that he could assume as Minister of the Interior, he stressed that at the meeting he highlighted the willingness of the Duque government to deliver all the requested information.
“The joint is about putting in black and white the situation of the ministry, the challenges, the way they have faced them, and how they have met the goals, how is the budget and the administration“, he assured.

He assured that the meetings have focused on sharing information and that it involves meetings next week.
It should be noted that Petro appointed the commissions of the 23 sectors, for 18 ministries and five administrative departments in conjunction with 196 entities attached or linked to them.
