This Friday, June 24, in commemoration of the 201 years of the Battle of Carabobo and Bolivarian Army Day, President Nicolás Maduro, for the second consecutive year, He did not attend the usual parade, he only limited himself to participating through a virtual message.
The governor of that entity, Rafael Lacava, and Defense Minister Vladímir Padrino López were present at the ceremony held in Campo de Carabobo.
In the video, Maduro congratulated the soldiers of the Bolivarian Army of Venezuela. He assured that in the soul of Venezuelans “the anti-imperialist stamp is marked for this time and for all time.” He emphasized that “an anti-colonialist, anti-imperialist, anti-oligarchic Army must be built more and more”.

For his part, the Defense Minister, Vladimir Padrino López, stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) defends its ideals and principles of independence.
“We are witnessing a time of resistance in the midst of the virtuous, victorious and glorious Bicentennial cycle, and we are here in Carabobo to fill ourselves with strength and resistance against the temptations of betrayal and to re-colonize a homeland like Venezuela,” he said.
“We soldiers reject those who divided 201 years ago and those who divide today. We must be alert. When the world moves in this geopolitical moment, the Army and our Armed Forces, our heroic people, must be with their eyes wide open in order to act very clearly in the face of events,” he stressed.
