During the last 24 hours, Venezuela registered 67 cases of coronavirus, 63 due to community transmission and 4 imported, reported the Minister of Communication, Freddy Ñáñez, on his Twitter account.
The community cases are located in the following states: Barinas 28; Miranda 28; La Guaira 2; Yaracuy 2; Caracas 1, among others.
According to the data, Barinas presents this Monday the highest number of infections in 4 of its 12 Municipalities: Barinas 23; soda 3; Cruz Paredes 1, Pedraza 1.
The official explained that of the 4 imported cases, 2 come from Türkiye, 1 from Panama and 1 from Cuba. All with entrance through La Guaira.
“We reached a total of 524,978 confirmed cases, 1,459 active cases and 517,795 recovered people, which represents 99% of infections,” he explained.
According to the balance, we have 906 patients who are asymptomatic, 449 with mild acute respiratory failure, 76 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 28 in the Intensive Care Unit.
“We continue without reporting deaths, we maintain the figure of 5,724 throughout the national territory, however the call is not to neglect biosecurity measures to avoid an increase in cases,” he concluded.
