Pedro Castillo after attending to testify before the Public Ministry: "he who owes nothing, fears nothing"

The president of the Republic, was pronounced one day after attending to testify before the in the investigation that follows him for allegedly being part of a criminal organization and said that “he who owes nothing, fears nothing.”

During the closing of the XVI Decentralized Council of Ministers held in the city of Tacna, he reiterated his willingness to collaborate with justice and emphasized that he is always “showing face”.

“Here we are, showing our faces. Yesterday we attended the Public Ministry and I reiterate once again our willingness to collaborate with justice and we will always do so because he who owes nothing, fears nothing. We will always do it”he expressed.

The president also announced that before the Binational Cabinet that will take place in Punta Arenas, Chile, where he will take the demands of the Tacna region, he will meet with his counterpart from that country, Gabriel Boricin Lima.

“In the coming months we are going to go to the homeland of President Boric in Chile, to Punta Arenas, at the other end of this border land with Chile, to carry out the Binational Cabinet. We are going to transfer the demands of Tacna to this Binational Cabinet”he underlined.

“There is a commitment, not to say almost personal, with President Boric: that before this Binational Cabinet we are going to have him in the city of Lima to see precisely the binational issue and there Tacna will be present at the table and in these treaties”he added.

Finally, Castillo Terrones called on the Congress of the Republic to dialogue to meet the needs of the population and put aside the quarrels and “useless topics that do no good to anyone”.

“From Tacna I call on our Congress of the Republic to sit down and talk, to do things right, to schedule the most emerging that the Peruvian people are clamoring for”he stated.

“Let’s put aside these quarrels, these useless issues that do no good to anyone and open these spaces. Hopefully later we will have the ministers, the people and Congress together and tell them: this is the unity of the people to meet the great demands”sentenced.
