The Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) reported that in Sinaloa the personnel of the Mexican Army have secured more than 700 clandestine laboratories dedicated to the production of synthetic drugs in this administration.
The foregoing by announcing the location of nine narco laboratories in the municipalities of Culiacán and Cosalá, and that the federal authorities have increased the deployment of reaction forces in the vicinity of the towns of Corral Viejo, Elota and Cajón de las Minas in the aforementioned municipalities, in order to continue locating clandestine laboratories
.
According to the statement, upon arrival in the areas where intelligence work has detected the existence of clandestine laboratories military personnel established security perimeters confirming the information and disabling
of nine facilities where synthetic drugs were produced.
In recent days, Sedena has reported the location and seizure of a total of nine narco laboratories in different areas of Sinaloa.
On June 8 in the town of Corral Viejo, in the municipality of Culiacán, seven facilities were located, in which dozens of empty drums and tubs were found, as well as several organic synthesis reactors.
While on June 9 in the town of Elota, municipality of Cosalá, a drug lab where there were 400 liters of methanol, 240 liters of acetocarmine, 10 empty 200-liter drums and 11 kilograms of methamphetamine.
As for the facilities located in the town of Cajón de las Minas, municipality of Cosalá, 175 kilograms of caustic soda, 10 plastic drums, with unknown chemical substances, as well as empty containers were seized.
