The operations, carried out by authorization of the Power of attorney, occurred in homes located in the districts of Ancón, Miraflores and Puente Piedra. It was precisely in this last district where the beginning of the raid work by the authorities could be seen, at approximately 9:51 pm, according to information provided by Latina Noticias.

It should be remembered that on June 7, the Public Ministry (MP) announced through a statement the preliminary arrest warrant for a period of 15 days that weighed against the former head of the MTC, given the seriousness of the accusations for which he is singled out.
Said opinion was issued under reservation by the magistrate Juan Carlos Checkley Soria, linked to the Supreme Court of Preparatory Investigation of the Supreme Court on Saturday, June 4, after the judicial entity received a new fiscal report in which greater elements of conviction against Silva Villegas were detailed.

Likewise, the Prosecutor’s Office revealed to the public that since May 27 it was ordered that the Corruption Investigation Division linked to Organized Crime of the Directorate against Corruption (DIRCOCOR – PNP) video surveillance of Juan Silva in order to monitor his activities while the statements were being taken and the investigations pertinent to the case involving the former minister.
In this regard, and after learning of the preliminary arrest warrant against the former head of the MTC, the Public Ministry asked the police division to submit a report on this supervision work to Silva Villegas, in search of determining that the provisions issued by the judicial office in relation to the aforementioned video surveillance have been complied with.
