Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez made this Tuesday, June 7, the usual report on the situation of covid-19 in the country, where she announced the detection of 32 new cases during the last 24 hours, to reach 523,969 infections since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
During his daily report, Rodríguez pointed out that 31 of the total reported cases correspond to community infections, with the most affected states being Zulia (10) and Bolívar (7).

He indicated that a single case “from Turkey” was detected at the Comprehensive Social Care Post of the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, Vargas state.
During the day of this Tuesday, June 7, no deaths were recorded, so the global number of deaths in the 751 days that the country has been fighting the pandemic remains at 5,722.
He specified that of the 523,969 cases of covid-19 detected so far, some 517,246 have been recovered, which is equivalent to 99%; to which he added that 1,001 cases are active.
“175 people are hospitalized in the public health system, 39 cases are treated in private clinics, while 787 are under supervised community care.”
