The Chamber of Deputies, made up mostly of Colorado Chartist and pro-government legislators, plus some opposition allies, has been characterized by having rejected key laws to combat corruption and organized crime.

Next week, a bill that includes tobacco companies and soccer clubs among the obligated subjects of the Secretariat for the Prevention of Money Laundering (Seprelad) could be discussed.
