Celeste Amarilla, national deputy for the Liberal Party (PLRA), said that she trusts the work of Liliana Alcaraz to investigate the case that affects Horacio Cartes. The former president of the Republic, she is linked to a mega money laundering scheme.
“I trust the work of Liliana Alcaraz, I think that citizens are exerting enough pressure. Everybody knows what Cartes is into,” she commented.
For the legislator, the excuses that the former president’s defense argues are crude and that the rush they had to explain reveals that this case affects them greatly.
“Hopefully the SET and Seprelad finish investigating Cartes. The excuses are crude. The rush to explain, Sunday night. This is not a thing that they do not worry about, ”she sentenced.
