For the last 24 hours, the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has recorded a total of 3,819 new cases of Covid-19, which, if broken down, could be said that in Panama, an average of 159 people.
According to the Minsa, no deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, but one from previous dates is updated for a cumulative of 8,255 deaths and a lethality of 1.0%.
In addition, the total number of accumulated cases is 858,268; They also report that to date 822,019 have recovered from the disease with 3,104 new ones recovered today. 16,891 tests were applied for a positivity of 22.6%.
There are 27,994 active cases in the country, of which 27,708 are in home isolation and 286 hospitalized. Those in isolation are 27,668 at home and 40 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 253 in the Ward and 33 in the ICU.
The districts that report the largest number of cases today are: Juan Diaz 145; San Francisco 141; Beautiful View 118; Rufina Alfaro 117 and Betania 111.
