The mayor of Cuatro Cañadas, Hugo Gutiérrez, reported that the invitation from the departmental government was considered and accepted by the mobilized groups, although they have conditioned their presence, since they hope that at the meeting Governor Luis Fernando Camacho is also here and his technical team.
However, the measure remains. The transport was folded to productive, social and community sectors related to masismo who began blocking roads early this Monday alleging lack of attention on the part of the Government.
“We have decided unanimously from the transport sector to join the blockade against the Government (…), we know very well that it is not complying with the demands”informed the representative of the transporters of the municipality, Florencio Colque.
In an interview with Bolivia TV, he regretted that the departmental government does not assume its responsibilities with the maintenance and construction of road sectionsamong other demands of the region.
According to the mayor, there are roads that have been abandoned for 20 years, so now they are asking for them to be refurbished and paved.
Among the demands of this sector are the construction of the Cuatro Cañadas-Puerto Vanegas road section, items for the health area, technical study for that the municipality of Cuatro Cañadas be incorporated into category B, regarding the resources of the school breakfast and the disbursement of royalties from the 2015 to 2021 administration, among others.
The mobilized asserted that there are sectors in the region that are impassable during the rainy season, therefore, they request the immediate attention of the departmental authorities.
“In rainy weather not a single mobility enters or leaves here, totally turns to mud. That is the demand of the communities, that they pay attention to this road because it joins Cuatro Cañadas, with Okinawa and Montero”, he pointed out.
