Rodrigo C was linked to the process, for his probable responsibility in the attack against members of the LeBarón family, events in which nine women and children died, in Bavispe, Sonora.
This is detainee number 31 in the case, according to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
According to the investigations of the case, carried out by the Specialized Prosecutor for Organized Crime (Femdo), the now accused was working as a hitman for the criminal organization known as The line, which, according to the evidence collected so far, was the one who carried out the attack against a convoy of vehicles belonging to the LeBaron family, killing 9 women and children.
The accused was arrested on May 19 last by elements of the Federal Ministerial Police, of the Criminal Investigation Agency, experts assigned to the General Coordination of Expert Services of this FGR, and elements of National Defense, during the fulfillment of a judicial order of search of a home in Ascensión, Chihuahua.
Femdo presented the detainee before the judge of the case, who determined that there were elements to prosecute him.
