Victoria Cárdenas, wife of Juan Sebastián Chamorro, insisted that they are not being given medical attention and when they are sent home to jail is when “these people are already extremely ill.”

“It is true that they are in their beds and with better food, but they are not followed up nor are they allowed medical attention and they are sent home when they are too serious,” he pointed out.

The relatives indicated that they will not stop “to sue collectively immediate freedom, unconditionally and with guarantees for the more than 182 political prisoners.”

“Until your release happens, we reiterate that their rights must be respected and their lives and physical integrity must be protected. and emotional. The policy of torture and extermination must cease”, they demanded.
