Albert Fernandez: "The Brics are an excellent cooperation alternative for my country"

In this regard, Fernández affirmed that “the new development bank of the Brics, in which my country could participate, is for me the institutionalization of a new world order focused on development away from financial speculation that has caused so much damage to our countries,” he added.

With the theme “Promoting development through unity and cooperation, and advancing together towards a bright future,” the event was organized by the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China.

“Argentina advocates for a multilateral world and for improving all the mechanisms of the United Nations Organization in order to generate a more stable global governance in the same way that it promotes cooperative work in all regional instances,” he assured.

For his part, Gioja said in his presentation that “both Brazil and Russia, India, China and South Africa are world powers, including powers that abandoned the capricious qualification of emerging, which some organizations insist on imposing on them, to minimize them and so that they do not compete. with other (powers), who see their leadership threatened”.

Likewise, the former governor of San Juan indicated that Argentina “is in a position to offer everything necessary to contribute to that development, through unity and cooperation, which undoubtedly leads to progress towards a great, prosperous and brilliant, possible” and added: “Perhaps it is time to think about the possibility of bringing Brics to Bricsa, with Argentina inside”.

“As President Alberto Fernández recently pointed out, the response cannot be limited to the unilateral action of one or a few central banks, but must be articulated and aimed at financing development and growth,” added the head of Palacio San Martín.

At the same meeting, the Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, expressed the interest of the Asian giant in launching a process to incorporate new members into the Brics.

“China proposes to start a process to expand the Brics, review the standards and procedures of the expansion process, and gradually come to a consensus,” Wang said, according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.
