Santo Domingo.– The Ministry of Public Health reported this Wednesday 163 new new cases of Covid-19 and zero deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to bulletin number 790, issued by the National Epidemiology Directorate, the total number of deaths to date is 4,377 while the accumulated cases amount to 580,954.
According to the aforementioned report, 628 cases remain active, while 575,949 have recovered from the virus and 2,734,655 have been ruled out by laboratory tests.

In the last 24 hours, 4,071 tests have been carried out, of which 2,660 are PCR and 1,411 are antigenic for a total of 3,315,609 samples processed.
Daily positivity stands at 5.66% and in the last four weeks at 1.74%.
The fatality rate is 0.75% and mortality per million inhabitants is 418.91.
The Hospital Network has 2,373 COVID beds, of which 30 are occupied, for 1 percent, while the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds of 585, none are occupied for 0 percent.
Meanwhile, out of a total of 469 fans, none are busy, which represents 0 percent.
