The Ombudsman’s Office was pronounced this Tuesday through his social networks to warn that the Regional Hospital from Ica It no longer has ICU beds available to the population.

“We warn that Hospital Regional de Ica no longer has ICU beds available”, Says the entity in its Twitter account.
Faced with this situation, the Ombudsman’s Office urges the population to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and “to continue with prevention measures to avoid further infections”.

In addition, the entity requests the Ica Regional Health Directorate to manage “an increase in ICU beds in the region”.
According to the report of the Ministry of Health, 10% of the population over 20 years of age in Ica has not received any dose of the coronavirus vaccine so far.
The health authorities have been informing that the majority of people infected by coronavirus and who require an ICU bed, were not vaccinated against this virus.
