Barça’s Argentinian point guard Nico Laprovittola repeats on Matchday 34 as the best Latin American player, an award he has won for the sixth time this season.
Laprovittola reached 23 PIR points in the game played in Manresa, where his team won 80-94. The Argentine base repeats the recognition that he achieved just two days ago, on matchday 33.
The Argentine point guard also ended up being the game’s top scorer, after scoring 20 points with 1 of 3 shooting from two points (33%), 3 of 4 on triples (75%) and 9 of 9 free throws.
In addition, he captured 2 rebounds, recovered a ball and forced 5 personal fouls, all in less than 18 minutes on the court (17:34). These excellent numbers led the Barça point guard to close his statistics with 23 PIR credits.
The general classification closes with Lenovo Tenerife point guard Marcelinho Huertas as the winner of the trophy thanks to his 139 points. Surne Bilbao Basket center Ángel Delgado is in second position, with 115, closing the podium Nico Laprovittola, with 84.
For the fourth season, the ACB together with the EFE Agency, leader in Latin America, awards this official trophy that weekly recognizes the best of the Latin American players who participate in the Endesa League.
