Cabinet approves Resolution that establishes measures to mitigate the high cost of fuel

A resolution that seeks to mitigate the high cost of fuel was approved on the afternoon of this Wednesday, May 11, by the cabinet council.
According to the resolution, it seeks to mitigate the effects to benefit users of public and collective and selective transport in the country.

Cabinet resolution 56-22 allows the allocation of resources up to the sum of $8,000,000 in favor of the Land Transit and Transportation Authority in search of minimizing the effects that have caused the rise in fuel prices.

The director of the ATTT, Carlos Ordóñez stated that on March 30 they agreed at the national dialogue table to adopt new measures in favor of transport and users

These administrative actions of a budgetary nature will be launched from May to next December.

The cabinet also authorized Education Minister Maruja Gorday de Villalobos to present bill 07- 22 for the implementation of the education policy for sustainable development.

Panama is the third country in Latin America to adopt this effort to have an educational policy aimed at sustainable development.

It also seeks to provide educational centers with the capacity to solve their problems with projects and with the help of the Ministry of Education.
